  • Developed Python scripts to collect and clean data from various REST APIs and store them in SQL Databases to improve operating efficiency

  • Conducted investigations and assessments on cases of child abuse and neglect, working closely with law enforcement and other agencies to ensure the safety of children.

  • Managed a caseload of 8-13 families per week as a Child Welfare Worker, ensuring the safety and well-being of children while working with parents to address concerns and establish goals. 

  • As a Supervisor, oversaw a team responsible for the safety of 45-55 families and approximately 60-90 children a week, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with agency policies, best practices, and approving all final decisions on child safety.

  • Managed and reveiwed case files, ensuring that all necessary documentation was accurate and up-to-date. I also maintained confidential records and communicated with clients, workers, and stakeholders regarding case updates.         

  • Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to develop case plans and identify resources for vulnerable families. I also attended court hearings and provided testimony as needed.

  • Facilitated trainings for new employees and provided ongoing coaching and support to my 6 member team. I also conducted worker evaluations to highlight success and recommendations for growth.

  • Utilized data analysis to monitor trends and outcomes, making recommendations for program improvements and identifying areas for additional support.
